Bradford Dale - 26th October 2024
What a stunning day for a walk along the banks of The River Bradford.
30 species spotted on the day gave us a good list for a river walk.
Our main target, the Dipper, made us work hard for a view of this wonderful Derbyshire speciality.
Finally after 4 hours of searching we found a single bird feeding where the Lathkill meets the Bradford. Yes, just 50m from where we started. But it didn't matter as the walk itself was what an Autumn walk is all about, Vivid colours, great birds & good company, oh, and a Fallow Deer buck barking and surrounded by around 10 does.
