It was a damp start but the rain didn't last long. It was very damp underfoot thought and it was a good job we were all wearing wellies.
Bird were thin on the ground with numbers of birds surprisingly low for this site. The species count was still good though with 55 recorded in total.
It just goes to show you don't need the skies and trees to be full to see some great birds.
