Cromford Canal

About the walk

A thank you for all of the support shown this year from all of my clients. A minimum charge of £1 is as low as my website will allow. Car parking is charged around £2.50-£4.00 Starting at Cromford and walking along the canal as far as Aqueduct Cottage and back. We will also check out St. Mary's Church yard and the River Derwent for Hawfinch, Kingfisher and Dipper. I have recorded 46 species around this area in January. Around 5km in length this walk is a wonderful way to start the year and blow away the cobwebs of the night before. A maximum of 20 people on this walk which is a much bigger group that usual. Designed as more of a social walk, but hopefully we will see some great birds too.
