Late Winter at Carsington Water

About the walk

Carsington Water offers a variety of habitats that gives the chance of a good range of bird species. It can also throw up a few surprises and you never quite know what will show up on any particular day. The walk should last between 3-4 hours and be around 3-4 km. Using the minibus we can also visit Stone Island and the Sheepwash areas of the reservoir. Maximum of 6 people per walk. This enables me to keep it personal and that everyone will get a chance to see the birds. Attendees range from beginners and people that just enjoy wildlife, to people that have a natural curiosity and who love meeting new people with a similar interest.
